Will Google penalize me for this?
Google's rules are about what a link is, not where it came from. So
our rules are strict. A placement counts only when the link sits inside
real content on a real page, and we fetch the page to confirm it before
any credit moves. Links pasted into footers or dead directory pages are
against the rules and earn nothing. No money changes hands per link.
Is this a link scheme?
Link schemes sell placements on sites that exist to hold links. Here
no money changes hands per link. Every member is a paying B2B company,
every mention is written by that company into its own content, and the
price is one public table that applies to everybody. A member who turns
their site into a link dump loses their membership.
Where does the domain rating come from?
Ahrefs Domain Rating, on the 0 to 100 scale everyone in SEO already
reads, so no conversion is involved. When a domain is not in their index
we show a clearly labelled estimate instead, and it is replaced the
moment real data arrives. Your check tells you which of the two you
got.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your card starts a 7 day trial and nothing is charged
on the day you join. When the trial ends the membership bills at
$49 a month, flat. Cancel before then and you are never charged
at all.
What if nobody wants to mention my site?
Credits are the answer to that. You are not asking a favour, you are
spending something you earned by doing the same work for somebody else,
and the member on the other side is paid for the placement whether or not
they have ever heard of you.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the Stripe billing portal inside your dashboard.
Credits you already earned stay on your account for the rest of the
billing period.
